Privacy policy

Effective date: October 27, 2026

Stockton-Hill Insurance ("we," "us," or "our") is an independent insurance agency in Kingston, Ohio. This policy explains what information we collect on our website, stocktonhillinsurance.com (the "Website"), and how we use and share it.

The short version

  • If you send us a form, we use what you type to respond to you.
  • We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people use. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
  • We do not sell your personal information.
  • Please do not enter sensitive details, such as a Social Security number, driver's license number, or bank or card number, in a website form.

Information we collect

What you give us. When you use a form on the Website (contact, claims, policy renewal, or a commercial insurance inquiry), we collect what you enter, usually your name, email address, phone number, and the details of your request. Website forms send your message by email to our team.

What we receive when you do business with us. When you ask for a quote or become a client, we may get information from you directly and from insurance companies and others involved in your coverage. We use it to quote, place, service and renew coverage.

What the Website collects automatically. When you visit, we and the services that run the Website receive basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and the page that sent you to us.

Chat assistant. If you use the chat assistant on the Website, your conversation is saved and may be reviewed by our staff so we can respond to you and improve our service. The assistant's replies are generated with the help of an AI service provider.

Phone calls. Phone calls with our office may be recorded for quality and training, as announced at the start of the call.

If you give us information about another person, please make sure you have the right to share it.

Cookies and Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4, a free tool from Google, to understand how people use the Website. It uses cookies or similar technology and sends usage information to Google. We also use Google Search Console, which tells us how the Website appears in Google search results. We do not use advertising cookies or Facebook or other advertising pixels. The Website may also use a small number of cookies it needs in order to work, and pages that include a Google map may let Google set its own cookies.

You can limit cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Learn more about how Google handles data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. The Website does not respond to "Do Not Track" signals.

Our forms use a third-party spam-protection tool that looks at technical details, such as your browser and how you use the form, to tell people from robots.

How we use information

We use information to answer your questions and requests; to quote, place, service, renew and change insurance; to run and improve the Website and our agency; to keep records and meet legal and insurance requirements; and to tell you about our services. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time by contacting us.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share information as needed with:

  • insurance companies and others involved in quoting, placing and servicing your coverage, and others you ask us to contact, such as lenders or certificate holders;
  • service providers that help us run the agency and the Website, such as email, hosting, analytics, chat and software providers;
  • claims professionals, advisors, regulators, law enforcement and others, when needed or allowed by law; and
